Most of the IC doesn't know who Gwyn is and doesn't have the time to get to know her. There are pressing matters that are going on in the courts and there is political tension. Brycehunt is not known to be an endgame yet even when they have a whole book that suggests they could end up together.Įlain is a seer which is what the next novel needs to locate the fourth trove to stop Koschei. It took Rowaelin 3 books, then 2 when they met. It took Feyre and Rhys two novels until they got together. If you follow SJM in all her series, she takes several books to build up any ships that are endgame. It's up to you on who you interpret which female, but my belief is Elain because, again, of textual evidence. Therefore, 'Azriel's' book is not next, but a female one. If you believe Azriel is next, it's most likely going to be so he's supporting the journey of a female character. They've been the love interests who supported the journeys of the female leads such as Feyre and Nesta.

Mind you, Rhys and Cassian never received 'their' own books. Moreover, readers have been saying Azriel's book is next because of the bonus POV. If SJM wants to delve into new characters, she'd have to wrap up on the arcs of the previous ones first such as Elain and Morrigan. But that doesn't mean Gwyn won't get her own book, I just believe she's not next because there is a lot of textual evidence that points towards Elain. SJM won't skip an Archeron sister for a new character (sorry).

The ACOTAR series are known for holy trinities that come in threes. For many reasons.įirstly, Elain is an Archeron sister, who has been introduced since book one, and the series has always revolved around Feyre, Nesta, and next.Elain. This book is most likely going to be about Elain Archeron, the fawn, the seer, and the kingslayer. Please only read this with an objective perspective and open mind, regardless of your opinions on what ships/characters you like. Quite disappointed that many ACOTAR fans reduced strong and powerful women down to a ship by pinning them against each other.
